Active Bean Management
The IMPRESSA J5 puts an end to the sound of empty coffee grinders or leaving a coffee cup half empty during the coffee making process once and for all, because it tells you in good time when you need to refill the bean container. The level of beans is monitored constantly and as soon as they fall below a minimum level an alert appears on the display. The bean container is covered by a lid and an additional transparent lid to preserve the aroma of the beans.

Height and Width Adjustable Coffee Spouts
A brand new Innovation to the Jura Impressa range that allows you perfectly position the coffee spouts to suit an even wider range of cup sizes and shapes. Perfect position of the coffee spout means the J5 developes a truly fabulous crema with the kind of consistency found only on the best espresso.

Ecological Intelligence
The IMPRESSA J5 actively helps you save energy. With ESM (Energy Saving Mode), the machine's energy saving potential can be adjusted to your habits. ESM© Level 1 keeps the heating element for coffee making permanently at operating temperature while the steam remains off. ESM© Level 2 keep the temperature of both heating elements at standby level, requiring a short warm up phase before coffee making can start. Then returning to standby five minutes after you have finished using the machine.

Connector System
This enables you use the Professional Cappuccino Frother (part of the standard equipment) to obtain a perfect milky foam or warm milk, a hot water nozzle for a smooth, even jet of water, and the speed frothing nozzle.

To ensure perfect crema every time the Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System© moistens the grounds before the brewing starts. The level of this pre brew can be adjusted automatically to match the coffee quantity.

Integrated Six Setting Conical Grinder
Precision manufactured from hardened steel for long service life. The integrated grinder produces an optimum mixture of powder and coarse particles from your favorite coffee beans. You select the grinding degree to suit your individual taste.

Genuine Two-Cup Machine
With the patented variable brewing unit you can adjust the coffee dose between 5 grams and 15 grams. Ideal water pressure is ensured regardless of the dose setting this allows two cups to be brewed at the time thus making Jura machines one of the few genuine household two cup machines.
