Kopi Luwak - Civet Coffee - Ground

Kopi Luwak sometimes known as civet coffee comes from Indonesia. The Civet, which is a member of the feline family, prowls the forests eating the coffee cherrys. The coffee beans the pass through the animal, where its digestive tract breaks down emzymes. The Kopi Luwak coffee is then collected by the locals, dried and roasted in the normal way. The result is a lush, smooth coffee with low acidity.

Kopi Luwak is the coffee that is featured in the film 'Bucket List' it stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

Our Civet coffee is roasted is freshly roasted in small batches and sealed in foil bags with a one way valve so the coffee can breath but the coffee cannot be degraded by the atmosphere.
